Mill Pond Alpacas is a 90 acre, family-owned and operated Huacaya alpaca farm focused on sustainability, proper herd husbandry, industry development, education, and community. Rooted in history and building new traditions, we offer guided tours, breed and sell seed-stock, provide mentorship and consultation, and offer luxe alpaca wares on-site with Mill Pond Mercantile, as well as at vendor events across the Capital Region, NY.

Established in 2015, we began our journey into alpaca ownership because of our love for agriculture and drive to instill that in our children. Over a decade later, we continue to be smitten with the majestic nature of these sensitive and intuitive animals. Our foundation herd boasts exemplary health and bloodlines; we have continued to grow and cultivate Mill Pond Alpacas through Snowmass and West Penn lineage. Mill Pond Alpacas is an Alpaca Owners Association (AOA) affiliated farm.​
